The Portuguese Association of Thunder Bay is a not-for-profit organization established to promote and encourage interaction and communication between generations of Portuguese Canadians. It was established in 1978 to serve the interests of its members to share and provide outreach to individuals and families wishing to carry on the traditions of the Portuguese people.

The Portuguese Cultural Centre is a hub for the community to gather, celebrate, educate and learn.

Foi establizada em 1978 para servir os interesses dos seus membros para partilhar e fornecer pessoal e familias para continuar com as tradições das pessoas portuguesas.
